Distribution-Grip Dead-End
Distribution-Grip Dead-End, is a helical termination primarily for bare aluminum based right-hand-lay conductors. It provides the required holding strength in standard “Distribution” construction and permits for the continuation of the conductor through the termination without damage and without having to cut and splice it. Covers conductors from 0.182” to over 1.2” in diameter. This termination is not for use in OHSW.”
- Tools are not required nor recommended to install Distribution-Grip Dead-Ends, except for hot stick applications.
- Designed to grip the conductor uniformly to prevent distortion of the conductor.
- Unique design that eliminates bolts, nuts, washers and other component parts that may become lost or damaged during installation or in service.
