Heavy-Duty Thimble

PLP's Heavy-Duty Thimbles are available with locking tabs (patented) or without locking tabs and are designed to fit into the loop of a TREEGRIP™ Dead-end. PLP recommends using these thimbles with TREE-GRIP Dead-ends to ensure proper application and performance. Each size is rated and laboratory tested to withstand the rated breaking strength of its designated strand size and is cycle test-proven to stay in place throughout the life of the cabling system. All Thimbles are hot-dipped galvanized to ASTM A153 standards for corrosion resistance. The locking tab version is useful to ensure the thimble stays in place before installation.
