Ratchet Spacer Tool

The Ratchet Spacer Tool is designed for use when installing Ratchet Spacers, such as PLP's TRS-15-R and TRS-46-R, on overhead spacer cable distribution systems that utilize jacketed conductors being supported by a messenger used as the system neutral. The Ratchet Spacer Tool features a squared end for use when tightening keeper arms onto messenger wire or smaller diameter conductors, and a pointed end for securing keeper arms onto larger diameter conductors. The tool has a pointed end for tightening a keeper arm onto a larger diameter conductor. A hole at the tool's end allows for the attachment of a ring or carabiner if desired. The Ratchet Spacer Tool allows for significantly more secure Ratchet Spacer installation.
