The INSULIGN High Temperature (HT) Tie Top Pin Type Polymer Insulators, constructed of a proprietary High Temperature HDPE formula, are designed for use in systems that have continuous operating temperatures up to 150˚C. Like PLP's standard INSULIGN Polymer Insulators, the HT versions meet the dimensional, electrical, and mechanical requirements as defined in ANSI C29.5 and C29.6 standards for Classes 55-3, 55-4, 55-5, 55-6, 55-7, and 56-1. These insulators also meet the new ANSI C29.15 standard for polyethylene tie top pin type insulators.

  • Continuous operation up to 150 degrees C

  • Tie top designs are ideal for use with PLP formed wire ties
  • Ideal for use with Tree Wire construction

  • Matched dielectric properties

  • Superior moisture and contamination shedding

  • UV-stabilized material

  • High-impact resistance

  • Lightweight design

  • ANSI-compliant head dimensions

  • Dramatically reduces abrasion damage to conductor

  • Ideal for jumpers and stinger wires

  • 100% recyclable

  • 1” or 1-3/8” pins
