Flexible Work Hours
Let's be honest, we've all got a lot going on - family, activities, work, school, etc. - and it isn't easy to accomplish everything on a set schedule. So, to help make life a little easier, we're happy to offer flexible work hours to our employees. We have standard hours in the middle of the day, but we offer a range of time to begin and end your day.
Paid Holidays
In addition to having all major U.S. holidays off, PLP provides two additional designated "floater" days to make certain holiday weekends longer. Who doesn't love four-day weekends?
Vacation Time
Everyone needs a little rest and relaxation to achieve work-life balance, and to support this we're happy to offer paid vacation time to our full-time employees. Need a little extra time off? Maybe you're getting married, traveling on a once-in-a-lifetime trip, or just want to spend a little more time with your family. No problem, we're happy to offer salary employees the option to purchase additional vacation time when needed.
Maternal / Paternal Leave
Being a new parent can be stressful and time-consuming. So, to help with this transition, we're happy to provide paid time off for new parents. This time allows our employees to focus on what truly matters most, their family.
Employee Assistance Program
Sometimes employees have personal and/or work-related problems and it’s unclear where to turn for help. To offer guidance, we offer an Employee Assistant Program (EAP), which is a confidential program that helps employees work through various life challenges that may adversely affect job performance, health, and personal well-being. Professional phone support is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Face-to-face counseling is also available, with up to five sessions included per topic.
401(k)
From day one we care about the future of every employee, including the retirement years. To help support a worry-free and happy retirement, we've partnered with Fidelity to manage our employees' retirement plans. And because we know not everyone is a financial expert, we've chosen plans that offer expert advice and planning services as additional benefits. The company match is equal to 25% of the first 8% of pre-tax dollars contributed by the employee.
Roth IRA
Retirement planning is about options, so in addition to the traditional 401(k), we also offer the option to easily contribute post-tax dollars into a Roth IRA managed by Fidelity.
Profit Sharing
We realize that every employee contributes to the success of the organization, and because of this, every employee should be rewarded. That's why, since 1952, every full-time employee with over 2 years of service receives an annual profit sharing contribution deposited directly into their 401(k) regardless of if you contribute or not.
College Scholarship Program
Higher education is a major expense these days, but to help offset the cost and reward hard work, we're happy to offer college scholarship opportunities to eligible employee dependents.
Student Loan Debt Program
We understand student loans can be tough to pay off, especially when you're first entering the workforce. So, in addition to offering employees educational reimbursement, we also want to help employees who have already completed their education. To do this, PLP is proud to offer loan repayment assistance to our employees and their dependents.
Medical
We offer a variety of distinct and carefully chosen medical insurance options through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, including both traditional and consumer-driven health plans. Traditional health plans are great for employees who wish to have consistent co-pays and prescription expenses, while consumer-driven plans provide more control over health care spending and savings. Providing multiple options allows our employees to pick the plan that best fits their family needs. Our ultimate goal is to provide quality health care at affordable prices. Contributions can be further reduced by $25 per month per adult (defined as employee and spouse) for completion of an annual physical by your physician with certification provided to Human Resources.

Dental
Through Delta Dental, our employees have access to two of the nation's largest networks of participating dentists: Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier networks. Providing superior dental care is another way we look out for our employees' overall well-being.
Vision
To support employees with vision insurance needs, we offer a voluntary vision program through VSP (Vision Service Plan). This option provides employees with insurance to help cover expenses associated with eye exams, eyeglasses, contacts, and various other vision needs.
Health Savings Account (HSA)
For those who enroll in one of our high-deductible medical insurance options, this benefit allows employees to contribute pre-tax earnings that grow tax free and are distributed tax-free when used for qualifying medical, dental, and vision expenses. Not only is your money federal tax free, contribution from your paycheck rolls over each year for future health care expenses. And to top it off, we offer a company match for those who contribute!

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
For those who enroll in one of our traditional medical insurance options, this benefit provides employees the opportunity to pay for unpaid medical, dental, and vision expenses by contributing to this program on a pre-tax basis.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
This benefit provides employees the opportunity to use pre-tax dollars to pay for child care expenses.
Wellness Program
To promote a healthy workplace and healthy employees, we offer a company wellness program that enables employees to receive monetary bonuses for making healthy lifestyle choices. Points are awarded based on activities participated in (such as our monthly mile runs, fitness classes, or independent exercise activities) and various other healthy behaviors.
FMLA & Maternity Leave
Employees who have been employed for at least one year and for a minimum of 1,250 hours during the preceding 12 months may be eligible for family and medical leave. For employees not eligible for family and medical leave, PLP will review business considerations and the individual circumstances involved to determine the feasibility of an unpaid personal leave.
Paternity Leave
PLP will provide ten days paid of paternity leave following the birth of an employee’s child or the placement of a child with an employee pertaining to either adoption or foster care. This policy runs concurrently with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave, as applicable.
