On-site Gym

Our headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio has a spacious and well-equipped gym, including cardio and strength training equipment and access to locker room and shower facilities. Many of our employees catch up on their fitness needs before or after work or during lunch.

On-site Workout Classes

To help support healthy habits for our employees, we provide subsidized on-site workout classes multiple times per week during lunch. We currently offer boot camp, yoga, and Pilates classes - all taught by trained instructors.

Basketball, Pickleball, and Volleyball

Across the street at our 651 Beta Dr. building, employees can make use of the Basketball Court (outdoors) and Pickleball Court (indoors). Get active with your coworkers by playing a pickup game of basketball, or reserve the Pickleball Court.

After work in the summers there is a sand volleyball league. The volleyball league is subsidized by PLP. Contact Human Resources for more information.

On-site Food and Drink Market

Located in our spacious cafeteria at our headquarters, this convenient market includes fresh and pre-prepared food options along with a variety of drinks and snacks, including many subsidized healthy selections.

Community Involvement

We encourage our employees to get out and help, so throughout the year we're proud to partner with many local non-profits to help make a difference in the communities we call home. A non-profit we regularly work is the American Red Cross. We also provide a company match for monetary donations made by any employee to qualified non-profit organizations.

Awards Banquet

This annual event acknowledges and honors service milestones, retirements, and patent recipients. Dinner, drinks, and entertainment are provided. It's a great time for employees to get together, bring their spouse or a guest, and have a great time.

Company Picnic

Who doesn't love being outside in the summer with co-workers and family? We certainly do! That's why all employees are invited to bring their families to this annual summertime event filled with fun, food, drinks, games, activities, and prizes!

Food and Ice Cream Trucks

Once spring arrives and throughout the summer, we occasionally have a variety of food truck vendors available for employees to purchase lunch - providing a fast, fun, and unique food option. In the summer, we bring in an Ice Cream Truck to cool your day off. 

Ticket Giveaways

We've been a Cleveland-based company since 1947, so we take pride in our local sports teams. We also take pride in providing fun activities and outings for our employees and their families, which is why we're glad to offer tickets to our company suites at Rocket Arena (Cleveland Cavaliers, Lake Erie Monsters, concerts and other events), Progressive Field (Cleveland Guardians), and Huntington Bank Field (Cleveland Browns).

Employee Events

Whether it's our annual Halloween costume contest, Christmas decoration contest, or Christmas party, we like to have fun at work. And every few years we host the PLP Olympics - a new, fun team-building tradition featuring events and prizes.

We also host lunchtime cookouts from time to time - maybe the Cavs are doing great, we had a record sales month, or just because it's summer!

Bowling League

A fun opportunity to bowl and chat with co-workers outside of work. The PLP bowling league runs from September through April each year. Handicaps are given, so you don’t have to be a great bowler to join in on the fun.

Golf League and Outing

As soon as the weather warms up, the PLP golf league begins! Enjoy a round of 9 holes at Stonewater Golf Club with co-workers. We also end the season with a company golf outing at Little Mountain Country Club. Employees can bring family and friends to participate in the event while enjoying food, drinks, and an 18-hole scramble with contests and prizes.

Winter Sports Club

For a fun wintertime activity, PLP offers discounted tickets to Peek'n Peak Resort in Western New York. Located just 2 hours from our Cleveland headquarters, this resort provides a quick and easy day trip for co-workers and their families.

Birthday Lunches

Monthly lunches are celebrated for all employees with a birthday in that month. Lunch, cake, prizes, and a fun activity are part of the event.

Tuition Reimbursement

Our employees are a very creative group of knowledge seekers. We invent, grow, have fun, and like to learn. To support continued learning, we're proud to offer one of the best tuition reimbursement programs around. Employees receive 90% tuition reimbursement for higher-education degrees that directly relate to current or future career opportunities. And to top it off, we cover 100% of book expenses.

International Rotation Program

As a global company we understand it's important to share knowledge and to learn from our colleagues around the world. To support this belief, we offer an international rotation program for qualified employees. During these multi-month-long assignments, employees become immersed in the work and culture of the host PLP international operation. Some of the international sites employees have visited as part of this program include: Australia, Brazil, China, Great Britain, and Poland.

"PLP Pal" Program

Being the new employee isn't always easy. So, to help transition to their new workplace, new employees are assigned a "PLP Pal". Your pal is a great resource to help you meet new people, show you around, or even just help you find the cafeteria.

To help support this, we offer on-site training classes and workshops throughout the year to help employees develop new skills.
