Overview: Acquired by PLP in February 2014, Helix Uniformed Limited’s extensive research and engineering expertise, as well as established manufacturing operations, significantly enhance the service and support PLP provides its customers in the Canadian market.
Based in Montreal, Quebec, Helix incorporated in 1993 and found success promoting its product offerings outside the traditional power line accessories market. Helix also focused on developing new products in the cable distribution and metal building industries. Helix pioneered faster manufacturing methods and elimination of toxic materials from production in its first ten years and received ISO 9001-2000 certification in 2003.
